Ingram
Planetarium has interesting astronomy and science programs for all ages
in the 85-seat Sky Theater. All shows are 1 hour or less. The theater
simulates a perfectly dark, starry night and it is unsafe to move around
during the shows. Late
arrivals are not admitted to the theater.

Voyage through the solar
system and deep into the universe in search of water, The key ingredient to
life on earth. Learn about our solar system and the universe.

Astronaut |
Experience a rocket launch from
inside the body of an astronaut as you explore amazing visualizations of space,
float around the Space Shuttle, and watch Chad, an animated test astronaut as he
learns about the perils of space.

In 1961, Alan Shepard was the 1st American in space, 50 years ago.
John Glenn made history on Feb 20, 1962 when he was the 1st American to
orbit the Earth. Dr. Kirkham, former Hubble Space Telescope System
Engineer, will talk about Orbiting Earth and the science involved in
taking a trip around Earth in space. |
